    • Ah ok, but then I don´t understand how you fix the xID / UID Problem? Because this goes back to FM09 (or even to 08 or 07). Can you explain that to me with an example how this will be fixed by the converter?
    • The problem simply doesn't exist in the converter.
      EA/BF used the 'xID' to store references to clubs (rival clubs, player history, favourite club, SOS conditions (loans, transfers), etc.).
      In the converter, we don't use 'xID's to refer clubs, we use direct links to clubs.

      Example:
      If you delete Real Madrid from FM14's Editor (its 'xID' is 2D000E), all references to clubs with 'xID' 2D000F and higher will become invalid.
      All references to Real Madrid will now refer to Real Sociedad ('xID' 2D000F), all references to Real Sociedad will now refere to Real Zaragoza ('xID' 2D0010), and so on.

      In our converter, if you delete Real Madrid, then this will happen:
      When the converter will write database, it'll automatically generate and put all correct 'xID's to the files (.sav).
      All references to Real Madrid will become 'empty' (if it was referenced in player history, then it will become a non-selected club).
      All references to Real Sociedad will use Real Socided's new 'xID' (2D000E).

      These 'xID's are just internal indices to be used inside .sav files, we can freely re-generate them for each club.

      For the FIFA/FM>FIFAM conversion, only UIDs matter.
      @Jojo-The-PG Look at that.

      @Dmitry very nice!

      It's already been said: the converter not only can convert from one FIFAM game to another, it will also convert from FIFA and FM.

      From the picture you can see that the converter has giant abilities. And it requires a giant amount of work to do.
      That's why we need a help from community.
      Sadly we didn't get much help here :/ , only 2 people from fm-zocker help me right now - Purkas, and, partially, rickhen (but maybe that's what we deserve, maybe my expectations are very high...).
      ...maybe also pes? ;)

      PES database is very limited. Also it has problems with licenses (fake clubs, fake players, etc.)
      but thats the same with fifa - i thought pes isnt as limited as fifa.

    • Ladies and gentlemen, scripts converter.
      Converting of country scripts (inside Country.sav/CountryScript.sav/CountryFixture.sav) and also external scripts (inside script folder (Continental scripts, World Cup, Euro Cup, etc.)) is possible now.

      Screens
      Champions League script, converted from FM14 to FM07:
      =>

      The converted file is not final, and should be edited manually, when possible.
      The converter will put descriptions for all problematic instructions inside the script file:

      Thanks. The next thing is limit solver (for competitions, clubs, players) and player/staff generator. I'll give more info about this later.

      Could you find out what the number in line #1 stands for?
      It's a number of competitions that should be read from the file.

      Is it possible to convert the UIC (UEFA Intertoto Cup) from FM08 to higher versions?
      I don't think we need this. Do we?
      We' re planning to work only with existing competitions - Champions League, Europa League, etc. I think we'll also try to re-create Nations League. We're going to create a tool for competitions editing, so I think things will be easier then.
